security companies seem to be all the same promise the client the moon, and rely on front line staff to deliver and then hammer them if they can't. all with little to no support.

The client gets what the client wants. The company does not think of their guards before they make a decision with the client,about the guards site,duties..etc. the supervisor will not fight for their guards rights,especially when it comes to safety,no one knows about the union, and our union Stuart is not present.
The company is laid back, and its easy to get along with each other.. that's about it.

Typical security corporation that treats employees like numbers and undercuts on contracts big time. Never had 1 weekend off in my whole 6 months with this company. G4S is the walmart of warm body security.

I've heard a lot of bad things about different regions within this company. I have a different outlook to things as I am based out of one district, but work at a site for another district.

I would recommend G4S to others for employment because it is the least of all the evils where security companies in Ontario are concerned.

Very poor communications, low quality guards, supervisors have a major ego problem. Don't answer there phones after hours. not worth staying with
